TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, platforms, events, digital content, memberships, media, and services operated by Craig Aarons-Martin and CCM Education Group, including but not limited to:

Collectively referred to as the “Sites” and “Services.”

By accessing, browsing, registering for, purchasing from, or otherwise using the Sites or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Sites or Services.

1. Ownership of Intellectual Property

All content made available through the Sites and Services—including but not limited to text, written materials, frameworks, methodologies, curricula, presentations, slide decks, videos, audio recordings, podcasts, transcripts, downloadable resources, graphics, branding, logos, designs, music, sound elements, images, and original concepts—is the intellectual property of Craig Aarons-Martin and/or CCM Education Group, unless otherwise expressly stated.

Such content is protected by United States copyright law, trademark law, and applicable intellectual property laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

No ownership rights are transferred by access, purchase, registration, download, or participation.

2. Limited License & Permitted Use

Users are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access content solely for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes, provided that:

  • the content is not modified,
  • the content is not redistributed or republished,
  • copyright notices and attributions remain intact, and
  • use complies fully with these Terms.

This license does not permit public display, performance, reproduction, adaptation, derivative works, or commercial use.

3. Prohibited Uses

Unless prior written permission is granted by Craig Aarons-Martin / CCM Education Group, users may not:

  • copy, reproduce, or distribute content for trainings, workshops, courses, or professional development
  • upload content to learning management systems, shared drives, repositories, or websites
  • adapt, remix, translate, or create derivative works
  • sell, license, sublicense, or monetize content
  • use content for consulting, coaching, or organizational programming
  • publish excerpts beyond limited fair-use quotation with attribution
  • scrape, archive, index, or systematically collect content
  • upload content to artificial intelligence systems, machine-learning tools, transcription databases, or automated repositories
  • use browser extensions or third-party tools to capture or extract content without authorization

Unauthorized use constitutes a violation of these Terms.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Craig Aarons-Martin and CCM Education Group may utilize artificial intelligence–assisted tools in the creation, enhancement, or production of certain content, including but not limited to written materials, images, audio elements, music, graphics, summaries, design assets, and research support.

Artificial intelligence tools are used as supportive tools only. All content published, distributed, or delivered through the Sites and Services is reviewed, edited, curated, and finalized by a human, and reflects the professional judgment, lived experience, creative direction, and leadership of Craig Aarons-Martin and/or CCM Education Group.

5. Ownership & Responsibility for AI-Assisted Content

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all rights, title, and interest in the final, human-directed content made available through the Sites and Services are retained by Craig Aarons-Martin and/or CCM Education Group.

The use of artificial intelligence tools does not grant users any additional rights to copy, extract, reuse, train, scrape, or repurpose content, nor does it diminish the intellectual property protections asserted under these Terms.

Craig Aarons-Martin and CCM Education Group remain solely responsible for the selection, presentation, and publication of all content, whether AI-assisted or otherwise.

6. Events, Conferences & Recordings

Events, conferences, workshops, summits, and virtual programs (including Black Boy Joy Summit and related offerings) may be recorded by CCM Education Group.

Attendee Restrictions

Attendees may not record, photograph, screenshot, transcribe, redistribute, or publish any portion of an event—including live sessions, replays, breakout rooms, chat discussions, or participant contributions—without written permission from both the event organizer and the content creator.

Speaker Rights

Speakers retain ownership of their intellectual property, subject to separate speaker agreements granting CCM Education Group a limited, non-exclusive license to record, host, and distribute content within the event, replay, or membership ecosystem.

7. Memberships & Paid Access

Memberships, subscriptions, or paid access grant access to curated learning experiences, not ownership of intellectual property.

Content accessed through memberships may not be shared, redistributed, or repurposed. Credential sharing is prohibited.

Violation may result in termination of access without refund.

8. Downloads & Resources

Downloadable materials are provided for personal reference only. Downloading content does not grant permission to reuse, distribute, or repurpose materials.

Organizations, schools, or groups wishing to use materials must request written permission through the official Permission Request process.

9. Professional Services & Client Engagements

In the delivery of consulting, coaching, facilitation, content development, or creative services, CCM Education Group may use artificial intelligence tools to support research, ideation, drafting, or enhancement of materials.

Such tools are used under human supervision and do not replace professional expertise, lived experience, or strategic judgment.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the use of AI-assisted tools does not alter ownership, confidentiality, or licensing terms applicable to client deliverables.

10. Podcast & Media Content

All podcast episodes, audio recordings, video clips, transcripts, show notes, and related materials for Brave Voices in Education are protected intellectual property.

Listeners may stream or download episodes for personal listening. Reproduction, transcription, redistribution, or use in AI systems is prohibited without permission, except for brief quotations with attribution consistent with fair-use standards.

11. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

CCM Education Group respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.

To report copyright infringement or unauthorized use, submit a written notice including identification of the copyrighted work, location of the infringing material, a good-faith statement, and contact information.

12. Termination of Access

CCM Education Group reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Sites or Services for violations of these Terms, misuse of content, or conduct that undermines community safety or integrity.

13. Disclaimer

Content is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, medical, or professional advice.

Use of the Sites and Services is at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Craig Aarons-Martin and CCM Education Group shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Sites or Services.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

16. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Sites or Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
